Tiber Creek Waits on Mother Nature
The Tiber Creek project has made great progress
during the summer months. The project began in early
July with the installation of drainage tile and
the construction of the “new” Tiber. During the
ensuing months rock was placed for a base, boulders
were added to enhance the creek bed, bridges were
installed, concrete walkways were poured and grass
planted. It’s time for a break until spring. During
that time we are hoping Mother Nature is kind to
the Tiber with adequate rain to provide for good
growing conditions...

Tremont Winning Communities
Published as Bankers Notes Magazine
Cover Story - January, 2008

Jim Dittoe said, “Working
with the people of Tremont has been one of the most
pleasurable experience in my professional career.
The leadership has been outstanding, particularly
Jim Shafer of The First National Bank in Tremont
and Rick Jameson of Tremont Savings Bank. They have
put into action what they stated in the Winning
Communities process. They are an example of ideas
that work!”
